We're Here!

Yesterday we had an uneventful day of traveling but we made it here safely! Praise God. So far so good. It is beautiful here!!! We are looking forward to the helicopter ride today and viewing the Grand Canyon. Here are some pictures from yesterday...

Here we are sitting on the plane...waiting for the maintenance men to fix the toilet.

Driving from Las Vegas to Hoover Dam

The Hoover Dam...

PS...we have a showing today while my mom is there watching the kids. Please pray that the showing goes well and if it is according to His timing, we sell!!

Have fun you guys! You deserve this!

I just want to say that Lori and Eric thank you for reminding me that life isn't about the here and now, it is about the hereafter. I want to live everyday investing in the hereafter..these earthly bodies cannot contain our eternal souls. I rejoice along side you in His Sovereignty and the hope we have. A good friend of mine putsomething into this beautiful perspective for me a few months ago and I will never forget it. He had stage IV burkitts lymphoma and very narrowly survived it. He lived in anxiety for 2 years going back to the dr. wanting to make sure that he was still in remission every few weeks. Then he lost his insurance and could no longer return to the doctor where his anxieties would be relieved with a clean bill of health. Now he said that when he thinks of it coming back or feels an old familiar pain..he thinks, well Lord..take me quick! We laughed and laughed..maybe someone else wouldn't get that, but it was his lightheartedness that told me, "hey, take your life here on earth a little less serious and please take mine a little less serious too!
