Lori, Zach and Maddie,

I will be praying for all of you in the coming days ahead. For to me to live is Christ, would be a fitting tribute to Eric. Those who knew Eric well, were blessed to have known him. Those who knew his life story, were encouraged with his testimony.

Yours in Christ,

Eric was my son Jake's football coach in cub football - we found out last night about Eric's passing and were smiling remembering when Eric would kick the football to the boys so high in the air none of them could catch it. We know he is back to kicking the football and feeling no pain...
You all are in so many of our thoughts - he touched so many people..

Eric helped me find a song which we played at my mothers home going after her fight with ALS, "Fields of Grace". All who knew and loved Eric know that he is "Dancing in the fields of grace with his Father God"
We won't be able to make the funeral but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We feel truly blessed to have known such a man as Eric. He was an inspiration and an example of a lover of Jesus no matter what the trial or triumph. Lives were changed because of Eric and his days on this earth. God used him and will continue to use his legacy to impact the lives of many! We love you Lori, Zach, and Maddie. Our hearts are heavy and they ache for you during this time and yet we rejoice in knowing that Eric is free! There are many moments over the past days when I have stopped and imagined him in heaven and what he might be doing. I know for sure that he is not letting any grass grow under his feet! We can just see him raising his arms again in praise and glory to God like we saw so many times as we worshiped with him. We have such hope! You and the family are in our prayers and we are here for you in any way you need. We love you!

In Christ,

Lori,
I am praying for you and your children. As I lay in bed last night, praying, I kept thinking about what a blessing Eric's life has been and about how many people have been touched by his life and by your family's lives. I wanted to say something to your children.

I remember so many times when your dad would be walking in the hall at KCC with the two of you, Zach walking and Maddie being carried. He always looked at you guys like you were the world to him. He would laugh and play with you guys. I remember how he would look with such love at the two of you. One time I remember him chasing Zach and just playing.
I remember your dad's love and compassion for others. Even though I haven't seen your dad in a long time he has had an impact on my life and I know that he will be sorely missed. May God bring your whole family comfort and peace as you grieve your loss.
Blessings and love,
Marcy Fryling
